She was predeceased by : her husband H. D. "Bunny" Mitchell; her parents, Riley Luther Corbitt and Georgia Newton Corbitt; and her siblings, Velta Bohannon, Evelyn Thames, Irene Johnson, Ruby Buckelew and Carlos Corbitt.

She is survived by : her sons, Ricky Lynn Mitchell of Dry Prong and Terry Dale Mitchell of Pineville, Louisiana.

Due to current health concerns regarding the pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Travis Sanders officiating.

Friends may make a donation to Hebron Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
