He is survived by: his significant other Tracy Barron; his children, Amanda Trahan (Ryan) of Jennings and David E. Ortego of Lake Charles; his grandchildren, Logan Trahan, Melanie Trahan and Corey Trahan; his parents, John Ortego of Elton and Hilda Klumpp Ortego of Elton; his sisters, Cheryl Lynn Fuselier (Rickey) of Elton and Kathryn Renee; his siblings' children, Brad Durio (Kelly) of Lake Charles, Trevor Kyle (Jeanette) of Lake Charles, Kaylyn Durio Fruge, Blair Fontenot of Kinder and Devon Sonnier (David) of Baytown, TX; and his godchild Rosaleigh Comeaux.
