She was predeceased by : her husband Eddie Dubois, Sr.; her parents, Bellus Mergist, Sr. and Eugenie Hebert Mergist; her son Edward Dubois, Jr.; and her siblings, Bill Mergist, John Mergist, Douglas Mergist, Bellus Mergist, Jr. and Dorothy Mergist.

She is survived by : her daughter Mary (Michael Thibeaux, Sr.) of Erath; and her siblings, Donald Mergist and Eoldia Peltier. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
