She was predeceased by : her son Tyler Myers; her parents, Wesley Fruge and Virgie Thibodeaux Fruge; her siblings, Charles LeJeune, Mickey Fruge and Susan Fruge; and her grandchildren, Sadie Fontenot and Chadrick Gradney.

She is survived by : her close friend Philip Myers; her children, Chris Fontenot, Denise Gradney (Chad) and Candace Granger (Kelly); her brother Tommy Fruge; her grandchildren, Darian Fontenot, Audrey Fontenot, Preslie Fontenot, Ashley Freeman, Rylea Gradney, Camryn Gradney, Taylor Silk, Jonas Granger and Julien Granger; and her great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Ashten, Porter, Marlee, Blakelynn, Denver and Scottlynn.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:55 AM at the Quirk & Son Funeral Home - Eunice (121 S 6th St, Eunice, LA 70535). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
