He was predeceased by: his parents, Minor Hudson and Velma Dean Hudson; his sister Ina Mae Hudson Roberson (Earl); and the mother of his children Bobbie Silmon Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Hudson; his children, Marsha Hudson Edwards (Bob), Danny Joe Hudson (Clara), Sonya Kavanaugh Rodriguez (James) and Kenny Kavanaugh (Marcy); his grandchildren, Heath Alford, Kaitlyn Kavanaugh, Matthew Kavanaugh and Patrick Daniels; and his great grandchildren, April Sherrill and Evangeline Nason. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
