Elta J. Knight Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elta J. Knight of Farmerville, Louisiana, born in Imboden, Arkansas, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Knight; her parents, J. V. Starling and Geneva Starling; her brother Norman Wayne Starling; and her granddaughter Abigail Violet Nichols Barlow.
She is survived by: her children, Pineville, Cindy Knight Johns (Chuck) of Monroe and Steve Knight (Kim) of Beaumont, TX; her grandchildren, Kandi Kelley Collins (Al) of Jackson, TN and Klint Kelley of Monroe, LA; her great grandchild Cash Collins of Jackson, TN; her siblings, Ella Starling Traylor of Greenville, SC, Harvey Starling (Pat) of Madison, AL and Derrel Starling of Victoria, TX; and her close friends, Lane and Louise Denton of Farmerville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and treasured friends.
She visited the sick and shut-ins up until COVID kept her at home last year.
