With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James O. McKeithen of Farmerville, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandson Jamie Mims; and his sister Lillian LeBlanc. He is survived by : his wife Johnnye N. McKeithen; his daughters, Dianne Allen (Brett) and Pam Anders (Billy); his grandsons, Jason Mims, Jeffery Giovingo and Will Anders; his great grandchildren, Abby Grace, Jenson, Callan, McKenzie and Grayson; and his siblings, John Reitzell (June), David McKeithen (Linda) and Margaret Byrd (Henry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
