We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2023, at the age of 100, Mattie Gray Bird of Farmerville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Royce Bird; her parents, Mathew Clyde and Willie Mae Webb Albritton; her son-in-law Jeff Elledge; and her grandson Brad Elledge.

She is survived by : her children, Royce B. Bird II (Doyline), Janice F. Elledge and Rogan C. Bird (Terri); and her grandchildren, Matt (Krista), Michael (Patty), Catthy (Jeff), Eric (Lacey), Nathan (Victoria) and Laura (David). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
