It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gayle of Ferriday, Louisiana, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dewitt and Maude Louise Gayle; and his brother Charles Jerry Gayle (Lois Everett Gayle). He is survived by: his children, Dewitt Gayle, Chandra Ferguson, Martin Gayle and David Collie; and his brother Sam Gayle. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
