Ruth Faye Ellzey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Faye Ellzey of Florien, Louisiana, born in Hornbeck, Louisiana, who passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Faye Ellzey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband William Ance Ellzey; her parents, Charles West and Jane Elmina West (Funderburk); her son Captain William Dale Ellzey; her grandson Kody Heath Chance; and her daughter-in-law Mary Kelley.

She is survived by : her children, Allen Ellzey (Marla) of Raleigh, NC, Greg Ellzey (Donna) of Florien, LA and Kathy Chance (Wayne) of Hornbeck, LA; and her sister Dorothy Bardwell of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
