He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Birdsal Best, Sr. and Lois Mae Moran; his wife Laura Galloway Best; his son Jeremy M. Brown; and his son-in-law Delray Hosford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Best Schmolke (Jared) and Katy Best Hosford; and his grandchildren, Andrew N., Tristan R. McLain, Tanner A. Zerr, Taylor L., Riley N. and Lorelei R. Schmolke. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
