Ducote; her children, Michelle Cheramie (Billy), Angela Ducote, Anna Ducote, Shelby Ducote and John Ducote, Jr.; her stepchildren, Jim Prestwood (Rebel) and Rhonda McCarthy (Tim); her foster son EJ Verdin; her grandchildren, Reggie, Bailey, Alexis, Colby, Michaela, Adam, Dezmond, Bari, Halen, Kamryn, Heidi, Kyndall and Sawyer; and her great grandchildren, Drake, Isaiah, Zoe, Roman, Aurea, Ezra, Emma, Jeremiah, Braelynn and Paxton.
