We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024, Dianne Matherne Hollowell of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, born in Larose, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Augustine Matherne and Rosie Mae Matherne; and her siblings, Judy Jacks, Beulah Schexnayder, Edgar Matherne and Belinda Guevera.

She is survived by : her close friend David Griffin; her children, Tommy Shicknider (Tuawanna), Travis Shicknider and Shanti Shicknider; her grandchildren, Trake Shicknider, Leric Serigny, Talon Shicknider, Dalton Shicknider, Kaleb Shicknider, Hannah Shicknider, Alee Shicknider, Ashlyn Shicknider, Layne Chiasson and Travis Shicknider, Jr.; and her siblings, Virginia Richard, Ella Naquin, Norman Matherne, Rex Matherne and Fay Matherne.

Dianne loved to crochet and donate blankets and hats to Children's Hospital. She also donated her.
