Easton Joseph Pitre Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2020, at the age of 87, Easton Joseph Pitre (Golden Meadow, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Dumas J. Pitre and Helise Plaisance Pitre; his siblings, Josephine P. Guidry (Herman), Lorida P. Serigny (Margloris), Lorita P. Falgout (Albert), Dumas "John" (Alzina "Lasur") and Edward (Regina); his grandparents, Voltaire, Laura Toups Pitre, Olivier and Cecelia Bouvier Plaisance; his foster parents, Horace Dantin and Dumacia Pitre Dantin; his foster sisters, Geraldine Dantin Naquin, Victoria D. Smail (Harold) of Ellenton, FL and Earline D. Wasko (Roy) of Dickerson, TX; and his great grandchild Haylee Marie Guidry.
He is survived by : his wife Mildred Cheramie Pitre; his son Jed Michael; his daughter-in-law Robbin; his granddaughters, Andree Margaret Long (Brian) and Emilee Lynne Guidry (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Brayson Long, Henry Guidry and Heidi Nicole Guidry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for masses in his name or the Bishop Greco Foundation are preferred.
