It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Ann Cheramie of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Leroy Cheramie; and her stepfather George Rebstock, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Ryan Cheramie, Doramae Cheramie and Leonise "Leigh" Cheramie; her grandchildren, Mia Dedon and Grady Dedon; her mother Doramae Rebstock; and her siblings, Todd Cheramie, Roy Cheramie (Stacy), Jonathan Naquin, Norman "Joey" Naquin, Jr. (Tammy), Debbie Pellegrin (Daniel), Lisa Lee, Melissa Potts (Mark Sr.), Loretta Dardar (Jimmy), Leonore Turner (Kahlil) and Hallie Avery (James). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery (723 N Bayou Dr, Golden Meadow, LA 70357). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the same location.
