She is survived by : her close friend Floyd LeBlanc; her children, Lamar Evans and Lane Evans; her siblings, Irvin Bourque and Eddie Bourque; her daughters-in-law, Tracy Evans and Chela Evans; and her grandchildren, Parker and Perri Evans.

A reception was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Greens Community Center (5474 Courtyard Dr. 78731).
