He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Rock and Eva Solar Rock; his wife Rosie Lee Rock; his daughter Deborah Orgeron; his stepson Hilton LaCaze; his granddaughters, Janet Orgeron and Melissa Orgeron; and his siblings, Joyce Rock Grow Wheeler, Gerald Rock, Wiltz Rock and David Wade.
He is survived by: his children, Herman J. Rock Jr. of Morgan City, Roy J. Rock of Berwick and Pam Schahn of Morgan City; his stepdaughter Nikkie Meadow of Nashville, Tennessee; and his brothers, Danny Wade of Virginia and Lynn Rock of Patterson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
