She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley P. Waguespack; her parents, Ludger Peytavin and Carmelite LeBesque Peytavin; her siblings, Marguerite P. Hebert and John L. Peytavin; and her grandson Brandon M. Waguespack.

She is survived by: her children, Wesley (Debbra), Rodney (Bonnie), Bernard (Angelle), Claire and Linda. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Marie's name to Magnolia School (100 Central Ave., Jefferson, LA 70121).
