He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Spears Green (Curtis "Smoke") of Gonzales, LA, Jamila Spears Bates (Ryan "Fred") of Mountain House, CA, Domonique Spears of Oakland, CA and Makeda Spears of Oakland, CA; his siblings, Ralph Spears of Biloxi, Joseph Spears (Maria) of Houston, TX, June Straight of Ocean Springs, MS, Betty Spears of Biloxi, MS, Marguerite McGee of Pemberton, NJ and Bernadette Warwick of Pueblo, CO; his grandchildren, Britney Williams of Gulfport, MS, Ashley Gilbert (Ray) of Atlanta, Russell Simons of Phoenix, AZ, O'Nisha Simons of Panama, FL, Isaiah Simmons of Gonzales, LA, Janai Sobers of Mountain House, CA, Jada Sobers of Mountain House, CA, Jai Marie Oakes of Mountain House, CA and Jaxson Bates of Mountain House, CA; his great grandchildren, Destini, Decarlos, Donte, Devin, Dayton, Psya, Olivia and DeKharter; and his close friend Winston Young.
