She was predeceased by: her mother Linda Brock Shamp. She is survived by: her father David Ray Elam; her siblings, Lisa Daigle, Laura Lane, Ricky Elam and David Elam; her children, Joshua Abadie and Necole Abadie; her grandchildren, Mikayla Byington and Alexander; and her pets, Pris and Lil Man.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends of Rebecca Lawson who prefer to provide a memorial contribution may do so.
