She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Leona Nelson Sr. (George); her children, Thaddeus Drexel Houston (Kelly), Kimberly Houston Francis and Holly Maria Houston; her grandchildren, Kassidy, Kamille, Kalani, Kyra, Kai Houston, Adam and Eden Francis; her husband John W. Houston of New Roads; her father John J. Nelson Sr.; and her brothers, John J. Nelson Jr. (Bruce), James Rickey Nelson and Thomas Rodney Nelson Sr.. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
