It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Mitchell (Gramercy, Louisiana), who passed away on July 30, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Mitchell Sr. and Julia Ross Mitchell; her siblings, Harold Jr., Gary, Morris, Herman and Julia Mitchell; and her brothers-in-law, Howard Batiste and Abraham Williams Jr. A.

She is survived by : her son A'Darryl Dwayne Davis; her granddaughter Aedyn Benn; her daughter-in-law Susan Smith; her grandchildren-in-law, Janiya and Jahyra Smith; her siblings, Beatrice M. Williams, Melba Mae Batiste, Rubenstein Clark, Marvel Ann, Angela Songy, Floyd and Rev. Emil Dean Mitchell; her siblings-in-law, Reginald Clark, Malcolm Songy, Emily, Brenda, Cynthia and Beatrice Mitchell; her godchildren, Lorraine Porter and Emil Dean Mitchell, Jr.; and her friend Gay Pittman. She is also survived by friends, her younger siblings and nephews.

Due to the current COVID-19, seated attendance will be limited to immediate family only.
