She was predeceased by : her parents, Dowie Gendron and Annabelle Gendron; and her sister Glenda Arcuri. She is survived by : her husband Ron Fitch; her children, Laurel Alexis Mills (Paul), Spencer Edwin Wayne Fitch and Kaitlyn Fitch; her grandchildren, Aubrielle Mills and Annabelle Fitch; and her siblings, Sandra Ratcliff, Iris Terrio, Nancy Holmes, Gerrie Cox, Dowie Gendron Jr. and David Gendron.

She welcomed those in need with open arms, and her charm and sense of charity left a lasting impression on everyone she'd meet.
