He is survived by: his children, Lorenzo Potier of Grand Coteau and Shantrell Rogers-Johnson of Lafayette; his siblings, James Howard Hardy, Jr. (Karen) of Crestview, FL, Joseph S. Hardy (Janice) of Grand Coteau, John G. Hardy (Carolyn) of Humble, TX and Tara A. Richard (David) of Grand Coteau; his sister-in-law Paula J. Hardy (Danny) of Grand Coteau; and his aunt Viola B. Meullion of Grand Coteau.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (289 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541). A rosary will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (174 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541).
