He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Verdin and Marie Gregoire Verdin; and his siblings, John Paul, Joseph Verdin, Theresa Lee and Patricia Verdin.

He is survived by : his wife Erika Duet Verdin; his sons, Ramie Duet and Travis Verdin (Chissa); his grandchildren, Alyssa-Rae, Aidan and Karmon-Ann; and his siblings, Allen, Tommy, Jimmy Verdin and Lucretia Egbi.
