He was predeceased by: his parents, William Denver Foster and Rosie Vance Foster; his children, Everett Ray Foster, Patricia Cox and Emma Foster; and his siblings, Paul Foster, David Foster, Robert Foster, Curtis Foster, Ruby Wells, Maxine Smith, Vidia Moore, Robbie Dendy and Addie Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stein Foster; his children, Halbert Stein (Melissa), Hank Stein (Bridget), Hervey Stein (Maria), Teresa Foster (Robert), Mary Helms and Sondra Stein Harris; and his sister Lydia Johnson. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
