He is survived by: his children, Wallace Joseph Thurman, Jr. (Theresa) and Debra Baree Carmine (Chris); his parent Mildred Natal Thurman; his sibling Marlana Stipe (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Kahla Thurman Cobb (Thomas), Sadie Slocum (Tyler), Tyler Baree (Alaina) and Ali Barbee Steinberger (Ryan).
