With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Stutes Lepretre of Gueydan, Louisiana, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Isaac Stutes of Mermentau, LA; her grandmother Dolores; her husband Ernest Lepretre Jr.; her parent Ory Kobleur Stutes of Jeanerette, LA.; and her siblings, Huey P. Stutes, Weber Stutes, Dorothy Vincent and Norma Guidry.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Lepretre (Kathy), Isaac Lepretre (Kim), Jeanne Saal (Ed), Rebecca Hardee (Richard) and Monica Baker (Gil); her grandchildren, Leah Zehyoue, Erin Vidrine, Stephanie Lepretre, Kegan Lepretre, David Hardee, Daniel Hardee, Allison Lepretre, Zachary Lepretre, Benjamin Baker and Isaac Baker; and her great grandchildren, Lane David Hardee, Amorie Hardee, Braxton Meche, John-David Hardee, Eleanor Hardee, Mary-Ellen Hardee, Frances Vidrine, Luke Vidrine, Olivia Lepretre and Evelyn Baker.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in the name of Mrs. Dolores Lepretre to the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Gueydan, LA.
