He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Durapau Nicholas and Earl John Nicholas, Sr.; and his sister Jacklyn Smolder. He is survived by: his former wife Doris Nicholas; his children, Earl J. Nicholas, III and Rachel Nicholas; his granddaughter Riley Tate; his wife Anita Nicholas; his stepchildren, Dawn Richoux (Gary) and Douglas Yennie (Carmen); his granddaughter Ashleigh Arita (Henry); his great grandchildren, Olivia Arita and Isaiah Arita; his nephews, Timothy Thibodaux and Peter Thibodaux; his niece Virginia "Jenny" Lips (Leon); and his great-nephew Christopher Thibodaux.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home (2607 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70062). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
