With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elsie Anne Bourdet Kiral of Hammond, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Kiral, Jr.; her parents, Anthony George Bourdet and Elsie Anne Galliot Bourdet; her sister Carlys E. Bourdet; her parents-in-law, Joseph Kiral, Sr. and Virginia Kiral; and her sister-in-law Wilma Kiral Mueller.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Kiral (Tammy) of Hammond, Michelle Kiral of Prairieville, Louisiana and Michael Kiral of Hammond, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Kiral and Jamie Kiral of Hammond; her sisters, Nancy Bourdet of Hammond and Catherine Bourdet of Metairie, Louisiana; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Mueller of Winona, Raymond Kiral (Nancy) of Montgomery and Lyle Kiral (Marylin) of Lewiston. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
