It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Joseph Brunet Jr. of Hammond, Louisiana, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Brunet Sr. and Amy Hughes Dillard; and his brother Freddie Brunet. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Brunet; his daughters, Kellie Brunet and Kristie Brunet; his stepchildren, Rachael Bowling and Scott Prior (Thelma); and his half-siblings, Pam Juno and Samuel Fayard. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
