She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith, Sr. and Ira Moore Thompson Smith; and her siblings, Ulysses, Albert, Jr., Oliver, Alvin, Arthur Smith, Ruby Taylor, Clorenza Miles, Mildred "Nanny" Smith, Ira Mae Medice and Linconia Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Blanche Raheem Johnson (Darren), Khayriyyah Raheem, Safiyyah Raheem, Joseph Raheem, Jr., Clorenza Raheem and Abu Raheeem (Tywanda); and her sister Delores Smith Coleman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
