He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard C. Rowe and Nona Faye Wynn Rowe; and his sister Judy Rowe Garrett. He is survived by : his brother Jackie Ray Rowe; his brother-in-law John A. Garrett; his niece Sheila Garrett Burkhalter; his great-nephew Garrett C. Burkhalter; and his great-niece Shelby P. Burkhalter.
