He is survived by : his wife Mary Evelyn Hays of Haynesville; his son Jimmy Lee Hays of Elm Grove, LA; his stepdaughters, Debra Kay Freeman of Haynesville and Karen Hays Cockrell (Dale) of Haynesville; and his sister Patsy Curry (Raymond) of Longview, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
