It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Morris (Haynesville, Louisiana), born in Gurdon, Arkansas, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter B. Barkhimer and Gladys M. Smith Barkhimer; her husbands, John Young, Jr., Vernon and Morris; her children, Danny Young, Johnny Young and Brenda Callaway Westerman; and her siblings, Rosa Nichols and William "Sonny" Barkhimer.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Beckie Baxter (Randy) of Emerson, AR, Kelley Reader (Matt) of Haynesville, LA, Nikel Young York (Wes) of Fredonia, KY, Chris Young of Fayetteville, AR, John Callaway (Karen) of LaGrange, GA and Darian Young of Conway, AR; her great grandchildren, Katelyn Evans of El Dorado, AR, Stephanie Rhodes of Emerson, AR, Jackson Rhodes of Emerson, AR, Hannah York and Kylie York of Fredonia, KY; and her siblings, Nell Jackson of East Pueblo, CO, Clifton Barkhimer (Beverly) of Camden, AR and Billy Ray Owen of Texas. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
