He was predeceased by : his daughter Patricia Lachney; his parents, John Lachney and Joyce Lachney (Mouras); and his siblings, Mary Ann Galliber and Mark Lachney.
He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Smith Lachney of Hessmer; his children, Sherrlyn Lachney Hessmer, Jimmy Lachney of Hessmer and Johnny Lachney of Marksville; his grandchildren, Josh, Kayla, Mallory, Ryan and Amber; and his great grandchildren, Hannah and Addison.
