He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Johnson Carroll; and his sister Margaret Carroll Bonnette. He is survived by: his sister Esther Priscilla Vaughan; his children, Rodney Carroll (Theresa), Roger Carroll (Stephanie) and Charla Renee Gathers (Nicolas); his grandchildren, Rusty Carroll (Kristen), Haley Stalsby (Austin), Cobey Carroll (Brianna), Shalane Holt (Cody), Robert Bullard (Toni), Amanda San Vicente (Edgar), Ty Gathers (Brentny) and Cris Gathers; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Elaine, Kainan, Khloe, Elijah, Paislee, Bryor, Drake, Aubrey, Jayden, Taylon, Gavin, Beau, Jaxton, Kason, Charlotte Annette, Adair and Lucas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Hineston Tabernacle (7431 LA-112, Elmer, LA 71424). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hineston Tabernacle Church Missions.
