He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian J. Thomala, Sr. and Maud Chauvin Thomala. He is survived by: his wife Arabella Thomala (Chickie); and his children, Roxanne Steed (Scott Gilbreath, Jeannine), Michael Thomala (Eunjin, Charmaine Sellers), Monique Bourg (Donnie) and Monette Reardon (Ken). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
