He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Walker Zachary and George W. Zachary, Sr.; and his brothers, Jerry Walker Zachary and James Charles Zachary. He is survived by: his wife Betty Auld Zachary; his children, Ann Marie Humphrey (Les) of Dubberly, LA and Roger Zachary (Lisa) of West Monroe, LA; his brother John K. Zachary (Joanne) of Benton, AR; his grandchildren, Zachary Willis, McKenzie Zachary, Jarrett Zachary and Matt Humphrey; and his great grandchild Owen Humphrey. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends.
In lieu of flowers honoring G.W., his family suggests memorials be made to Claiborne Academy Alumni Association, First Baptist Church Homer, or charity of donor's choice.
