She is survived by: her fiancé Sylvester Sterling Brooks of Houma, LA; her sisters, Theresa Joseph (Thomas) and Nicole Hayes of Houma, LA; her sons, Carl Preston Hayes, II (Chantell) of Houma, LA and Jermichael Hayes (Jerneshia) of Houma, LA; her godparents, Annie Stewart and Donald Williams of Gibson, LA; her siblings, Matthews of Gibson, LA, Mary Matthews (Latoya) of Jacksonville, FL, Donald Williams (Chanelle) of Deltona, FL, Abigail Petite (Wilbert) of Baton Rouge, LA and Eric Jackson (Linda K.) of Gibson, LA; her godchildren, Maurice Stewart, Matt Stewart, Brianna Stewart, Keilyn, Ja'kyrien, Joshiah, Jariah, Cainen, Jeremiah, Ceanna, Jaceion, Ty'Lynn, Joi Lovey and Chosen; her daughter Tynesha Kenny; and her close friend Linda K. Jackson. She is also survived by aunts, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greater New Vision Baptist Church (6036 W Main St, Houma, LA 70360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
