She was predeceased by : her father David Oliver, Sr.; and her brother John Lee Oliver. She is survived by : her mother Virginia Oliver, Sr. (Hood); her daughter Debra Fontenot; her brother David Oliver, Jr.; and her granddaughter Kenzie Fontenot (Brayleigh Primeaux).

A reception was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647).
