With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronnie Delcambre of New Iberia, Louisiana, born in Jeanerette, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ronnie left this world on November 6, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amilcar "Mickey" Delcambre and Lorena Hebert Delcambre; and his siblings, Raymond Delcambre, Barbara D. Montz, Wayne Delcambre and Dickie Delcambre.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Landry Delcambre; his sons, Brian Delcambre (Tracy) and Kevin Delcambre (Nina); his grandchildren, Grant Delcambre (Nija), Bryce Delcambre, Kori Delcambre (Patrick O'Donnell), Julia Delcambre, Matthew Delcambre (Tyler) and Ryleigh Grace Delcambre; his great grandchild Matthew James Delcambre, II; his siblings, Jerry Delcambre (Jane), Rickey Delcambre (Karen) and Jackie Delcambre; and his sister-in-law Darnelle Delcambre. He is also survived by grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the David Funeral Homes (400 Provost St, Jeanerette, LA 70544). A rosary will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint John the Evangelist Cemetery (601 Baker St, Jeanerette, LA 70544). The inurnment will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beau Pre' Cemetery (7605 E Old Spanish Trail, Jeanerette, LA 70544).
