It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emmie Thompson of Jena, Louisiana, born in Rhinehart, Louisiana, who passed away on July 2, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Cecil Ray Thompson, Sr.; and her siblings, Perry Clark, Marion Clark, Johnny Clark, Gladys Tarver, Hopkins of Missouri, Ernestine Swindoll and Diane Heflin.

She is survived by : her sons, Cecil Ray Thompson, Jr. (Meredith) and Anthony D. "Tony" Thompson (Kelly) of Jena, LA.; her grandchildren, Jarred Thompson (Jenni) of Jena, Connor Thompson (Riley) of Appleton, WI. and Clark Thompson (Vanessa) of Woodland Park, CO.; and her great grandchildren, Beau Riley and Beckham Ray Thompson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hurricane Creek Baptist Church, Building Fund, or Cemetery Fund.
