She was predeceased by : her husband William L. Benson Sr.; her parents, Joe Thompson and Bessie Otwell Thompson; and her siblings, Joe Thompson, Wes Thompson, Daisy Starnes, Johnnie Paul and Irene Roark.
She is survived by : her children, William L. "Bill" Benson Jr. (Judy) of Jena, Corliss Benson of Jena and Beverly Young (Don) of Jena; her grandchildren, Kara Benson Callender, Jeffery Benson, Christina Young Schoenhofen and Jennifer Young; and her great grandchildren, Addison Mackenzie, Leo, Tanner, Myca, Annsley, Cameron and Jordan.
