She was predeceased by: her husband Harrell L. Whitten; her parents, Robert G. Vail and Mary L. Vail; her brother Donald R. Vail of Farmerville; and her nephew Robin C. Vail of Denham Springs.

She is survived by: her brothers, James S. Vail of Lake Placid, Walter K. Vail of Farmerville, Robert C. Vail and Richard F. Vail. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your favorite charity in her memory.
