He was predeceased by: his parents, Oshell Lee Davidson and Mamie Lee Galloway Davidson; his sons, Chad William Davidson and Marshall Woods; and his siblings, Paul Davidson and Dorothy Evan.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Cecile Book Davidson; his children, John Davidson, Elena Davidson Long, Gayle Charpentier Farris, Lee Charpentier, Jeremy Charpentier, Brittany Ellis and Mary Ellis Rachuba; and his siblings, Brenda Mauldin and Robert Davidson. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild, and a host of nieces nephews and other family members.
