It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen McAdams Nix of Keithville, Louisiana, born in Spearsville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Flavil McAdams and Imogene McAdams; her husband Ronnie Nix; and her granddaughter Emma Grace. She is survived by : her daughters, Angela Nix Riser (Tracy) and April Nix Johnson (Brandon); her grandchildren, Caleb Riser, Carson Riser, Grant Johnson and Emma Grace Johnson; her siblings, Bobby McAdams, Joey McAdams, James McAdams, Kenneth McAdams, Ernest McAdams, Larry McAdams, Scott McAdams and Valerie Elkins; and her brother-in-law Randy Nix (Julie). She is also survived by met the love of her life, which she married.
