She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Brett A. Melancon; her children, Aubrey Melancon and Seth Melancon; her parents, Lynn Lyncker Cortez and Eugene P. Cortez, Sr.; her parents-in-law, Judy and Jay Melancon; her siblings, Stacey Duvall (Jerry, Sr.) and Eugene P. Cortez, Jr. (Brianne); and her grandparents, Theresa Franssen, Leo Lyncker, Claire and Leroy "Pops" Cortez. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
We are also proud to say that her generosity continues through her gifts of organ donation.
