It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Michael Morrissey of Kenner, Louisiana, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joy Loga Morrissey; his children, Mandy Rice (Casey), Michael Morrissey, Jonathan Morrissey (April) and Joshua Morrissey (Jamin); his stepchildren, Daphne Cedre (Daniel) and Keith Loga; his parents, Carol Sheasby and Patrick J. Morrissey, Sr.; his brother Patrick J. Morrissey, Jr. (Catherine); and his parent-in-law Marion Wilson. He was also cherished by twenty grandchildren, one great grandchild, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family is suggesting donations be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital per his request.
