He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Everett and Clarence McGee Sr. Everett; his wife Carrie McGee; his stepmother Leona McGee; his aunt Selena Smith; his siblings, Connie Kennedy, Clarence McGee, Jr. and Ivan Wilson; and his nephew Kenny McGee.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda McGee, Sharon Mosby (Devin), Everett McGee Sr. (Christina) and Edwin McGee Sr.; his grandchildren, Christopher, Nahume, Nicole (Christian), Kiakala, Eriniessia, Edwin Jr., Elijah, Eion, Emani and Adoring; his great grandchildren, Creuz, Creux and Kh'Lyani; his sister Debra Tillman; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Tolliver and Lionel Tolliver.
